Clans
Players can band together by forming Clans, which function like guilds in traditional MMOs. A clan can consist of dozens of players who cooperate for mutual benefit. Clans will have their own chat channels, a clan hall space in the Hub, and possibly a shared stash or resources. Belonging to a clan offers several advantages:
• Clan Quests & Raids: Special PvE missions that are designed for groups of clan members. For example, a clan might undertake a quest to defeat an extra-hard world boss or secure a resource-rich area, which would be difficult alone. Successful completion yields rewards for all clan members.
• Clan Wars: Competitive events where clans compete against each other. This could be asynchronous (comparing which clan dealt more damage to a boss in a week) or synchronous (direct clan vs clan PvP battles or territory control). Winning clans earn glory and rewards, and perhaps some clan-specific NFTs (like a banner or emblem NFT).
• Clan Economy: Clans will have internal economies – members might donate resources to a clan bank that can be used to unlock clan perks (e.g., a clan vault unlocking a powerful item that members can borrow).
• Social Bonds: Importantly, clans add a strong social glue. Members will likely stick around because they enjoy the camaraderie, mentoring new players, and achieving things together.
