Story Mode

Story Mode is a rich single-player or co-op campaign where players embark on an epic journey through the eight themed regions of MonkeyRealm. Each region, from haunted jungles to icy peaks, holds its own challenges, secrets, and dangerous creatures. Players will battle the mobs of the curse, solve intricate puzzles, and confront powerful bosses to recover legendary magical gems—the key to restoring balance to MonkeyRealm.

Each of the eight world themes offers a unique environment, complete with distinct monsters, hidden paths, and puzzles that require players to master their abilities. Throughout the journey, players will:

• Learn new skills and abilities specific to each region.

• Face challenging enemies, each with unique attack patterns and behaviors.

• Solve environmental puzzles to unlock new areas, treasures, and hidden lore.

• Engage in epic boss battles, testing their combat skills against cursed champions of each region.

• Earn rare loot, resources, and magical artifacts, vital for upgrading their characters and progressing in the game.

Most of the game will feature stunning 2.5D visuals, offering a side-scrolling perspective inspired by titles like Ori and the Blind Forest or Rayman Legends, with depth and detail reminiscent of classic RPGs. However, when players engage in puzzle-solving segments, the game will transition to a fully immersive third-person perspective, allowing for a more dynamic and exploratory experience.

The lore of MonkeyRealm unfolds as players progress, uncovering the story behind the mysterious curse that stripped the monkeys of their wisdom. Guided by the Monkey King, players must retrieve the eight magical gems, each protected by the different world themes Bosses. These gems hold the power to restore intelligence and balance to the realm—but only if players prove their worth in battle.

Story Mode serves as a gateway to mastering combat mechanics, offering a balanced blend of action, strategy, and exploration. It’s also a primary source of in-game resources, NFT rewards, and character progression, making it an essential mode for both casual players and competitive adventurers alike.
