YourStupidMonkeyPet Mini-Game

YourStupidMonkeyPet game is an expansion where players get to raise and train their own pet monkey. Initially launching as a Telegram mini-game (to maximize accessibility and virality), it will later be converted into a full mobile app. The mini-game is designed with several goals in mind:

• Onboarding New Players: The mini-game serves as a friendly introduction to the MonkeyRealm lore and mechanics for newcomers. Because it’s on familiar platforms like Telegram (and in future a free mobile app), it can reach users who might not immediately dive into a complex RPG. Through simple interactions like feeding your pet or doing basic quests, new users get a taste of the StupidMonkeys universe. As they grow attached to their monkey pet, they’ll be more inclined to transition into the main RPG to continue the adventure.

• Casual, Low-Commitment Fun: It provides a casual gameplay experience for those times when players can’t log into the main game or prefer a light engagement . Taking care of your virtual monkey is something you can do for a few minutes each day – perfect for commuters or those who enjoy Tamagotchi-style games. It’s a way to keep the community active daily without always needing a lengthy play session in the main game.

• Additional Earning and Progression Path: The mini-game is linked to the main game’s economy. Players can complete mini-game tasks and challenges to earn the future $STOOPID tokens and in-game rewards on a smaller scale. For instance, daily training of your pet might grant a bit of token or a resource pack that can be claimed in the main game. Achievements in the mini-game could unlock bonuses in StupidMonkeys Realm Hero (e.g., a special cosmetic or a slight stat boost if your pet is well-trained) . This creates a feedback loop where playing either game benefits your progress in the other.

• Pet Training & Evolution: Within the mini-game, players start with a baby monkey pet and through care and training, help it grow and evolve. You might feed your pet, complete social tasks or play mini-games with it. Over days and weeks, the pet advances from baby to mid to old, each stage unlocking new abilities or higher performance in mini-game challenges . This sense of growth is compelling (like Pokémon training)

The rollout of “Your StupidMonkeyPet” is planned in 2 phases :

• Phase 1: Telegram Mini-Game Beta Launch (Q1 2024) – a Telegram game where core pet raising features are introduced and simple mini-games. This is quick to launch and gather community interest (our roadmap indicates an Alpha Launch of the Telegram mini-game in Q1–Q2 2024) .

• Phase 2: Mobile App Expansion and Main Game integration– the mini-game becomes a standalone mobile app with richer graphics and more mini-game content. It will be linked with the Main game monkey character and seamless reflects all the changes.
